One of 16 barcharts in a report I designed for BASIC (British American Security Information Council) last week. The report summarised the trends in UK mainstream politics and public opinion polls towards the Trident nuclear submarines. The Trident system is due to be replaced, or upgraded, or downgraded, and the debate is heating up. I really enjoy making barcharts, and other graphical forms of presenting complex information. The graph shows how different opinion polls (listed in date order on the left) reveal a steadily decreasing support for Trident, comparing people who vote for the three main UK political parties.
